Learn the ancient Cuenca glazing technique from Spain in this glazing workshop. We will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating your own stunning star constellation using glass to create colour and depth to a wide collection of ancient tile designs so you can mix and match to create something truly special.

At the end of the workshop you will have 6 glazed tiles, ready to be fired.

You will learn:

• The history of Cuenca tiles
• How to glaze to create colour depth and vibrance
• The process of glaze application and preparation for firing 
• How to create patterns using multiple tiles

• This workshop includes all tools and equipment
• Be sure to wear clothes that can get dirty, and wear closed-in shoes
• Your camera, so you can take progress photos of your work
• Light refreshments (if attending alone or in a small group)
